Coming at you with a quick one for the week. This is essentially a pyramid training session, reps will increase each set. Yeah it’s tough, get use to it. If you want to do this properly, i suggest using heavier weights for the first round. You can even use cluster sets of weighted dips each round to maximize the strength benefit.
Some iron history for you…
Pictured is John Grimek who primarily advocated full body training 2-3x a week. Sessions were often done in a circuit for around 3 sets of 10 repetitions (boring, but boring hard work still works). He could deadlift over 700 lbs in his prime, bench 480 lbs, Bent press 400 lbs, and single arm swing (lift pictured) over 200 lbs. He could apparently still squat over 600 lbs in his 70s, pretty nuts.
The Workout
Perform A,B,C, that’s one round. Perform 1 to 3 total rounds depending on how heavy you want to go and your fitness level. If possible, use weight on the dips and a band for the pushups.
